    Hi clo47!

You can use widget logic: http://wordpress.org/plugins/widget-logic/ to display/hide certain widgets on certain pages/category pages. The Abundance “Add new widget areas for pages and categories:” option does not support shop category but only standard post categories.

Add your widgets into the “Displayed Everywhere” field and add following code into the conditional option field

    is_category(array(5))

instead of 5 insert the id of your product category – i.e. if you want to display “bags” on the “shoes” category page only use the id of the “shoes” category and insert “is_category(array(X))” into the conditional field of the “bags” widget.

    Regards,
    Peter

I added custom menu to “Displayed Everywhere”, entered product category ID to
    is_category(array(74))
and added the code to conditional option field, but nothing happened.

    What do I do wrong?

    Hey!

Please give us a link to the actual category page where you want to show the widget. Replace the conditional with this:

    is_category( '74' )

    Cheers!
    Ismael
