Hello,
I'm working on a complete rework of a live music venue's website previously running on Joomla, and I chose Incarnation because it has what I needed (except for I don't need sermons).
-It's responsive
-WPML compatible
-An events plugin adapted tho the theme, which is also WPML compatible
In a new install of WP, version 3.5, having installed WPML 2.6.3 and Incarnation 1.5 I'm having problems with the default language PAGES not showing, giving 404 errors instead. Home pages and posts seem to work properly without any issue.
WPML is configured for different languages in directories (http://www.kafeantzokia.com/k2/ - Basque, http://www.kafeantzokia.com/k2/en/ - English, etc.)
Permalink settings: "Post name" http://www.kafeantzokia.com/k2/%postname%/
If I change the default language in WPML settings, then pages in that language will give 404 error.
If I switch to a default theme, then pages will display well in all languages. So there seems to be some intereference caused by Incarnation theme in the permalink URLs.
You can see it for yourselves here:
Default (Basque):
http://www.kafeantzokia.com/k2/
Spanish:
http://www.kafeantzokia.com/k2/es/
English:
http://www.kafeantzokia.com/k2/en/
In addition, WPML also causes theme options to be language specific, that is, they only apply for each language, hence the different look of each language version of the website (is that normal?).
