I created a product category list and put it on the header. When I click on the category, it goes to the page with products in that category. I want to change the layout of the category page but I found that I have to do it in the source code of the woocommerce plugin. I try not to do anything in the plugin and parent theme so that they can be auto update without losing anything. Is it possible to change the category page layout in child theme? or is there any plugin or any method I can link a category with a normal page so that I can create my own content using the avia layout editor?

I found I can copy the woocommerce template files into child theme

    See http://docs.woothemes.com/document/template-structure/

But I still want to see if there is a way to use the avia layout editor to update the category page layout.

    Hey!

    Thank you for using Enfold.

I’m sorry but you can’t use the advance layout builder to modify the product category pages. You need to create a template file called archive-product.php in the child theme folder.
