    Im on the Google Structured Testing again :)

    Im now happy with my site + blog entries all working great with Google’s hatom feeds, I now have a question regarding woocommerce products thouugh.

    I ran this test http://goo.gl/e4jtwx

    Ive read that woocommerce does use rich snippets for products as standard and is already added (im using the latest version of woocommerce) , but when I run the Google Structure Test, I get nothing back (See above link) (I am as we speak adding code to the flashlight/woocommerce-config/config.php) to test it all out, so it may show results.

    At the moment though I can only amend the “title” and that’s about it.

    So far ive added

    <div itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/product">

    and

    itemprop="name" to the “Title” attribute

    My question is, how can I add all of the attributes https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/146750?hl=en to the products, im a little confused though because I thought woo commerce had added this ? is this a theme related problem and if so where would I add / edit the single item product page ?

    Kind regards

    Hi xGSTQ!

    Afaik WooCommerce just supports rich snippets on the single product page (i.e. http://www.kriesi.at/themes/flashlight/shop/graphic-novel/ and http://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/richsnippets?q=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.kriesi.at%2Fthemes%2Fflashlight%2Fshop%2Fgraphic-novel%2F ). However in your case the markup doesn’t return useful results because the product description contains only an image and google will just display and analyze text based content. If you want to change the markup of the WooCommerce single product templates you can modify the files located in /wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/templates/single-product/

    Cheers!
