WooCommerce install error

I just purchased the theme Monday evening. When I installed it and then installed the WooCommerce plugin I received an error. I just looked in Themeforest and saw the posting to redownload the theme to fix this. I did and after that I still receive this at the top of the page of wp-admin/plugins:

What can I do to remedy this?? This is time sensitive.

My test site is now displaying 500 Internal Server Error.

I have installed numerous WordPress themes and have never had such difficulty.

I understand that your support team has a lot of questions to answer, but this is unacceptable. I purchased the theme and I cannot move forward with working on my site until the woocommerce plugin error is fixed. I will be asking for a full refund if this is not resolved within 24 hours.

Hi!

The error indicates that some plugin files are missing. Please try to install/upload the plugin again. If this doesn't help try to contact your hoster - maybe they need to change some settings (session time, allocated menory, etc.).

You can try to use another theme like TwentyEleven - I'm pretty sure the same error will occur if you try to use WooCommerce. The error has nothing to do with our theme so there's no reason for a refund (and I'm sure envato won't grant you a refund in this case...)

My hosting service (GoDaddy) has assured me the problem is not on their end. I still cannot incorporate the Woocommerce plugin (Version 1.5.1) without receiving the following errors. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Wordpress and Woocommerce multiple times without being able to move forward. What can I do??

Hey!

It indeed doesnt seem like a theme problem. did you try using the default wordpress theme as was suggested? is the error still occuring if you use the default theme? If so this might be a plugin related problem rather than a theme related problem and in that case I would recommend to also visit the woocommerce forum and ask for help there, since all plugin related issues are probably faster solved there: http://www.woothemes.com/support-forum/?viewforum=150

let me know if changing the theme allows you to install the plugin without errors so we can sort this out...

Thank you for the link to the support forum. I did find a thread called "WooCommerce install issues with Go Daddy".. but I am not a customer of theirs so it wouldn't let me see any of the other 3 posts.

I just installed Flashlight following the tutorial video, which has no audio. I followed the first steps and I get the Internal 500 error when I look at any page other than the home page. I did 'install dummy data" - that part went fine. I previewed the site and I get the error. I don't know what to do now - Woo commerce is not installed yet, so it can't be the problem.

Hi lici,

Do you receive the same error when you switch to the default Twenty Eleven theme? Did you change your permalinks? If you will when you respond please start a new thread in the Flashlight forum and we'll be able to assist you further.
