If you have troubles since the update to WordPress 4.5 please read this post before opening a new thread.
I currently have a custom menu set up in a sidebar for product categories. Everything works great with the hierarchy except that if I hide all children except for current, or hide children period, I cannot click a category to reveal additional subcategories. I would like to be able to click to reveal before clicking to go to the main category page.
Does that make sense to you? I have it as a default in other themes, but not in yours. Assistance would be appreciated.
Unfortunately the site is still in development. Basically though the site sidemenu is the same as a default product category menu as yours. I would like it to behave like the ajax nav which uses attributes so that when a parent item is clicked it reveals all children items instead of going to the parent category.
I see what you mean now. Unfortunately we can’t really create custom functionality on top of what is currently available. You can try looking into a plugin or a bit of custom jquery/css for that however.
If its something that is a must have you can always have it custom coded for you by a freelance developer.
