The Shipping – calculate shipping – do not work any longer on my shopping cart page since the upgrade. I don’t even see a dropdown list of the shipping methods.

In the future, I wouldn’t recommend updating major plugins right after an update/release. The changelog shows there was:
Tweak - Payment methods and shipping method selection dropdowns on order page
But I am not sure what this means as it isn’t quite clear enough to debug. I’ll need to send the issue to Kriesi and have him take a look at the exact change.
Additionally, double check that your shipping methods are correct as they might need to be re-saved. Attempting to get an order through all I’m getting is Local Pickup as an option so it could just be the way the plugin is configured and that it needs to be re-done to your needs.
In the mean time, you’ll need to revert to 1.6.1 in order to get back the previous functionality with Woo Commerce if the above doesn’t help.

I have open this issue in the Woo Forum. Something is definitely not working right with shipping. I have tried so many different things now, including re-saving my shipping methods and settings without success. This has been reported for about a week now, so hopefully I will get a feedback with resolution soon.
In the mean time I appreciate you bringing this issue up with Kriesi to help figure this out promptly.

It looks like there was another tweak to the dropdown in 1.6.3 as well so you might want to try upgrading again and see how it effects the issue.

Thank you for the suggestions. I deleted everything in the cart, cleared the cache, resaved everything. The Canada Post extension now works. So I’ll leave it alone for now until I hear back from Woo support.
