On our site (still not launched) WooCommerce refuses to save some attributes of variations – it “forgets” them again. When I try to resave them they don’t get updated. Strangely this had been working ok for a while, then one day to the next got dropped.

Has anybody experienced something similar and are there any recommendations on how to approach the topic?

    thanks

    Hi!

If something “suddenly” stops working it’s probably a plugin incompatibility issue. Did you activate any extensions recently?

I am having the same issue. I have tried disabling all the plugins, making sure every variation is enabled, no default variation is saved, the product is public. It is only happening when I have a large number of variations. When I save the variation and tick enabled, it unticks after saving.

    Thanks in advance

    Hi kayhebbourn,

You can try a couple of things server side. First increase your php memory limit for wordpress: http://www.dailyblogging.org/wordpress/increase-wordpress-memory-limit/

The other would be to increase the max_input_vars . You’ll need to talk to your host about doing that via your php.ini file as its generally defaulted to 1000 and upping it to 3000 may help.

    Regards,

    Devin
