    Hi

    My cart and checkout pages have display issues. Some of the field overlap so I can’t see them or complete them. WooCommerce forum is having problems with their new ticket/forum system, so right now I’m stuck to try to resolve these display issues, so I thought perhaps you would know what’s happening.

    Take a look here:

    http://tremblaytechweb.com/TWdev/cart

    and here:

    http://tremblaytechweb.com/TWdev/checkout

    Any help would be much appreciated

    Thanks

    Same issue at

    http://ipacksupply.com/wp/?post_type=product

    Please ad a few products to the cart before proceeding to checkout, also in the “checkout” page under Calculate Shipping, the same issue occurs.

    .container .clear {

    clear: none;

    }

    .form-row {

    clear: right;

    }

    This should do it.

    Hi Lyse,

    I don’t think the CSS above will fix the issue and I wouldn’t recommend altering the value of .container .clear as it is used to clear rows of classes.

    For some reason there is a secondary fake value getting spit out along with the other by WooCommerce. Its not happening on my local installation or live but forcing it to hide should get things looking like normal again.

    Try adding the following CSS to your Quick CSS (located under the Styling Tab in the theme options) or the custom.css file in the css folder of your theme files:

    .avia_select_fake_val {
    display: none;
    }

    That should do it and I’ll try getting the same bug to appear on my end as well as send the bug over to Kriesi :)

    Regards,

    Devin

    Hi Devin,

    The suggested CSS element change did not fix the problem.

    SixStar – I tried your suggestion and you still have the problem on the checkout page.

    Hey Lyse,

    I don’t see the code in the custom.css or loaded into the page. There is this however:

    .avia_select_fake_val {
    color: #000000!important;
    font-size: 11px;
    height: 31px;
    left: 7px;
    line-height: 31px;
    overflow: hidden;
    position: absolute;
    text-align: left;
    top: 1px;
    width: 83%;
    z-index: 2;
    }

    But it needs to just be hidden completely. The other css from SixStar needs to have both of the css applied to have the company name properly pushed down though I only see the .container .clear{clear:none;} in your css.

    Devin

    Hello,

    This thread could help.

    Hi Ismael,

    Tried the CSS selectors suggested, now I can’t see the content of the field, Calculate Shipping not longer works. As for the checkout page, the problem still exists and if I select the shipping method from the dropdown the shipping costs get added.

    I’m getting more confused now will all of the bits and pieces of CSS.

    Hello,

    I tested your site by adding a product then visiting the checkout and cart page and they all look fine to me. All fields are working.

    Please try to remove cache and reload the page.

    Regards,

    Ismael

    Hi Ismael,

    I have cleared everything: cache, history, etc. I also tried from a different computer and the problems still exist.

    Hi,

    By the way, all of my variation fields are also not working properly – dropdown selection display is white? or blank?, I can’t tell.

    #84473

    Hi,

    Found out that the following CSS is the cause for my “selecttions/variables” dropdown list to be blank, so removed it!

    .avia_select_fake_val {

    display: none;

    }

    Lyse

    #84474

    ….forgot to say I kept

    .avia_select_fake_val {

    color: #000000!important;

    font-size: 11px;

    height: 31px;

    left: 7px;

    line-height: 31px;

    overflow: hidden;

    position: absolute;

    text-align: left;

    top: 1px;

    width: 83%;

    z-index: 2;

    }

    #84475

    Hi Lyse,

    Hmm, maybe the avia_select_fake_val fix can still be done but only applied to the actual checkout page so that it fixes the issues you have now in the short term but doesn’t cause anything else.

    So you could use:

    #top.woocomerce-checkout .avia_select_fake_val {
    display: none;
    }

    Devin

    Hi Devin,

    We are getting closer, the shipping calculates and displays correctly on both the cart and checkout pages. What I am left with is the Country and Province fields are still messed/doubled up.

    Thanks,

    Lyse

    #84477

    Hi Devin,

    While on the checkout page, the “Accept Terms & Conditions” paragraph is also misaligned because of the CSS element

    .form-row {

    clear:right;

    }

    Do you have a fix for that one?

    Thanks

    Lyse

    #84478

    Hello,

    This CSS doesn’t affect the alignment “Accept Terms & Conditions” paragraph.

    .form-row {
    clear: right;
    }

    I think this will do

    #payment .terms {
    padding: 10px 0 0 0;
    }

    Hope it helps. :)

    Regards,

    Ismael

    #84479

    Hi Ismael,

    Although terms used to be on the left of the Place Order button, I’m happy to keep it below the button using your suggested CSS.

    Any solution for the Country and Province fields that remain messed/doubled up?

    Thanks

    Lyse

    #84480

    Hello. I had this issue with the checkout fields overlapping. I used the CSS suggested another thread to fix, which it has, but now my variation fields for products are not working. I removed the CSS

    .avia_select_fake_val {

    display: none;

    }

    as mentioned above by Lyse, but this then causes my Country and State checkout form fields to become out of alignment, and once you select the country you can’t click on the state field to enter the state for shipment. At the moment I have had to leave it so you can’t see the size variables for products, because it shows in the drop-down just not once selected. I still need customers to be able to checkout. Any ideas how to fix the product variable option without it affecting the checkout fields? Thanks.

    #84481

    Hello,

    This should work,

    #billing_country_field .avia_select_fake_val, #billing_state_field .avia_select_fake_val  {
    display: none;
    }

    This will only remove the country and state fake values.

    Regards,

    Ismael

    #84482

    Hello. I applied that CSS and although the checkout field remains fine the product size variables still aren’t showing when selected from the drop-down field. You can see at http://femmefatalecosmetics.com.au

    Hi burnsey,

    Try to add this code in your Quick CSS:

    #pa_size {
    opacity: 1 !important;
    }

    Hope this helps. :)

    Ismael

    #84484

    Hi Ismael,

    The suggested CSS element resolved the country and state fake values, however the input fields boxes remain doubled up.What other element needs fixing?

    BTW my variations work fine.

    Thanks,

    Lyse

    #84485

    Hi Lyse,

    In this statement “the input fields boxes remain doubled up”. Can you post a screenshot on that? I can’t seem to see it on my end.

    Hi Lyse,

    Try:

    #top.woocommerce-checkout .entry-content .avia_select_unify {
    border: none;
    }

    I’m not sure why the one border isn’t getting overwritten by the other but that should get them cleared out only on the checkout.

    Hi Devin,

    I still have a bit of a shadow, however, I can work with that!

    Thank you so very much.

    #84489

    Hi Lyse,

    Glad that helped. I’m sure Kriesi is going through all the WooCommerce enabled themes and resolving the bugs and various issues now so we should see an update to address everything sometime soon.

    Regards,

    Devin
