I am also needing some assistance here.
I am looking to impliment a plain and simple menu, no drop downs or subnavigation. just a few navigation links that dont looks so spaced that look like a conventional menu.
Hope my explination makes sense, and any assistance in this regard would be so helpful...

This can be achieved by simply not creating any subpages =D This way it wont list any, if you do want subpages - but unlisted, please do say so. To adjust the menu spacing you can go to line 214 in your style.css
From:
.main_menu .menu > li{
float:left;
padding-left:20px;
width:125px;
line-height: 1.6em;
}To:
.main_menu .menu > li{
float:left;
margin:10px;
line-height: 1.6em;
}You can play around with the margin value.
