Is the theme compatible with the WordPress 3.9 Update? Just want to be sure before updating. Thanks!April 18, 2014 at 4:12 am #253001
Download the theme updated from your downloads on ThemeForest first. For a quick guide on updating your theme take a look at this video on updating the Enfold theme via FTP: https://vimeo.com/channels/aviathemes/67209750

I updated via FTP replacing only the files that have changed: styles.css and the framework folder. I don’t have shortcode icon/menu available on the editor tool bar.
How can I get this back?

Force refresh your browser cache since the WordPress css, js files and the theme files supporting scripts for the visual editor have been changed. If you have any active plugins you should also try deactivating them in case one is no longer compatible with the new visual editor from WordPress.

Thanks Devin I downloaded FileZilla and cannot seem to get it to connect to my server. I tried every possible combination I could think of to get it. Any ideas how to get this to work? Thanks!April 29, 2014 at 2:31 pm #257653
Please contact your service provider for your FTP access credentials. You need Host, Username and Password.

I cleared my cache, no change. I used a different browser, same problem.

The screenshot is showing the interface as visible. It isn’t responsive as that wasn’t updated to be responsive when the WordPress admin was but it the functionality is there.

I’m a little confused with your response. Do you mean that because the the interface shows up – it works, but the fact that the preview pane does not – it’s as designed (not to be responsive as part of this upgrade)? It used to work just fine before the upgrade.

Thank you for the update.
What do you mean by “preview pane”? I created a page and test some of the shortcodes and they work as expected.
IsmaelMay 4, 2014 at 1:59 pm #259940
The shortcodes work, the issue occurs on the UI interface when creating the shortcode. On the popup window for entering the details, the right hand side of that window (titled Preview), that’s where the error is displayed (for longer shortcodes the preview is at the bottom and the error is displayed at the bottom).
Sorry for the confusion. The preview worked before the upgrade.

Can you post a screenshot of the issue? I checked your website and could not see an error – http://i.imgur.com/CIJBrXj.png
Please upload your screenshots on imgur.com or Dropbox public folder and post the links here

Please try deactivating all active plugins and check if that helps. You have many installed

I did as you recommended in my staging area and the VaultPress plugin is the culprit. I deactivated VaultPress on my live site and bingo all works well. I will contact VaultPress for a fix.
To all of you, your time and patience through this troubleshooting has been much appreciated.
