WP-Postratings error - How to change header-footer Color?

Hi Guys, first of all, great work. Appreciate all the hard work that went into this fantastic theme.
I love it and i am using it for some time now, but i would really really love it if my postratings would work. ( would like that nice extra touch )

When i activate it in wordpress it gives me the following error:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare postratings_textdomain() (previously declared in /home2/aepalcom/public_html/wp-content/themes/expose/framework/theme_plugins/wp-postratings/wp-postratings.php:50) in /home2/aepalcom/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-postratings/wp-postratings.php on line 51

I googled this and the author of the plugin said he didn't have any answers for this error.

I reinstalled wp, reinstalled theme, without any other plugin activated it wouldn't work.
Was wondering if any of you had experience with it.

I would like to try to change my header white, so my logo pops more. Is this done easily? if so how can i achieve this?

Hey!

The error message is telling you the postrating_textdomain has already been declared, this is because WP Postratings is already included with the theme...

Hi James,

I already though that this is the case since Kriesi mentioned that it was incuded in the theme, any idea on how i can activate the rating system though? What am i suppose to input in the value area, i tried allot of things but i cant get it to work.

Hey,

If you have this line in your functions.php file:

if(!function_exists('the_ratings')) { $autoload['plugins'][] = 'wp-postratings/wp-postratings'; }

delete it. Next, copy the wp-postratings folder (found in /framework/theme_plugins/ ) to your plugins folder and activate it through WP admin.

You should now find that your posts include the ratings under the image as per the demo.

Any idea on where i can find the css for the background color to manually customize? or am i asking too much now ? :)

Try using FireBug to find the CSS and your text editor / FTP program to make the changes. :)

Hi,

I have the same problem with the postrating...(fatal error) I read all post about it but it seems it doesn't work.
Can someone have a look or help me please? (i'm on wp3.0)

I also have an other question. I want to define an external link on the home images (it's ok) but in a new window (_blank window). Any idea about the way to do that?
