eg. my home page cannot be translated because its dynamic template is in another language and cannot find a way to translate it…
any help on this ?
It depends on the dynamic elements you’re using. The page/post content element should be able to display the right content based on the selected language. Static texts (eg text in columns or custom headlines, etc.) are not translatable. However you can duplicate the template in this case and change/adjust the static text. Afterwards apply the dynamic templates to the different pages – (eg the template with the static text in English to the english version of a page; the other template to the other, translated page, etc.).
thx, i know… only problem here is that dynamic templates cannot be copied and thus need to be re-created from scatch :-(
Yes, some other users requested this feature too. I’ve forwarded the request to Kriesi.
